Hailing from Leeds and now residing in London, Alex Mills is one of the UK’s most prominent singers: an electronic music specialist who has fast become the go-to collaborator for many of the world’s most recognized producers.
Alex has featured on dance records of some of the most established dance music artists, namely Basement Jaxx, Hot Since 82, Chris Lorenzo, Joey Negro and Sonny Fodera. Outside of the electronic music sphere, Alex’s ability to write intricate and memorable songs has seen her music featured on American hit-TV series ‘Drop Dead Diva’. She has also performed on Jools Holland’s longstanding ‘Later…’ UK TV show.
Over the years, Alex has worked with a broad array of talented and recognised artists including grime Pioneer Wiley, Roll Deep and Wretch 32 as well as hip hop legend Tricky and has also recently collaborated with Tobtok, DJ S.K.T, Tough Love & Kideko as well as penning tracks for Camelphat and A*M*E.
2017 was without doubt her biggest year to date, as she released her debut solo single “Be Somebody” via U.S dance heavyweight label Ultra Music and further established an incredibly fruitful collaborative relationship with one of the UK’s biggest artists; Jonas Blue with their record together ‘Don’t Call It Love’.
